Scrubs is my favorite TV shows besides The Simpsons and Family Guy. It has been on American TV since 2001 and it's not even shown in Malaysian TV back then. Not till the year 2004, when Star TV via Astro started showing em. Well, i did managed to download a few seasons back then ;) wit my lousy 512k adsl connection thanks to torrent. It was the only way to get a hold on it besides limewire! Nowadays, there's plenty of it roaming around the internet, you just have to get the right sources to get it :) eheemm, RS, ehemm *cough ;P .. We're in the eight season people !! Upgrade ur connection and download it fast ..

Network in talks to renew comedy for ninth season. ABC is in talks to renew the veteran comedy "Scrubs" for a ninth season with some or all of the original cast members coming back full or part-time.

My New ICOM IC-2200H Arrived!

It's Here! It's Here !!! hehehe .. My new mobile rig had arrived from Shah Alam recently .. :)
After taking a short break, I'm back on air people ..

"The Icom IC-2200H 2 meter FM mobile features a rugged design and an easy-to-read alphanumeric display. The large informative LCD may be set to green or amber. The receiver covers 118-174 MHz and the transmitter delivers 65, 25, 10 or 5 watts of output. The improved receive IMD helps provide protection from excessively strong signals such as pager signals. And the squelch attenuator (approx 10 dB) allows you to reduce interference from strong nearby signals. A winning combination for receive performance. The front panel has an oversized tuning dial is easy to grab while on the move and the large 4-level backlit display clearly provides key information at a glance. Memory channels can be assigned names for easy recognition and easy access.

The 2200H supports three different scan modes: Full Scan, Memory Scan, Programmed Scan and four scan resume conditions. It works really great, i must say .. i could even TX better with this thing compared to the old Yaesu i owned before.. Im quite happy , FOR NOW !!! :P I might get myself a quadband mobile, but that's a whole different story to be told in the future .. 73 and G'nite ! ;)

Icom ic-v8000 vs. Icom ic-2200h

As i mentioned in my previous post, I've sold my Yaesu Mobile :( and now, still on the hunt for a new mobile rig as my base station .. I'm thinking of testing ICOM product this time! yet, i got myself into a dilemma .. I have my eyes on two different mobile rig from ICOM .. and now i can't decide which of these i'm going for ..

Between these two ;

ICOM IC-V8000

ICOM IC-2200H

WHICH OF THESE 2 WORTH THE CASH ??? huhuh ...

Should i go for the one with the highest TX power ? or should i go for something that has more frequency mode? Huh! ..


In the other hand , some part of me kept on saying to hold it longer for this mobile rig;

monday, oh what a day

i woke up at 5.30am !! send off Roy to the airport at Terminal 2 KK before 6.30am .. and went breakfast at Tanjung Aru after that .. Arrived home at 9.15am .. Continued sleeping until noon !! Then, i woke up at noon, had my lunch .. watched some tele after that .. and here i am !! Doing nothing .. Going to QSY, to the city later to pick up my YL ..

i'll continue doing this during the nite :P

Homes at 1Borneo Hypermall ..

My YL and I had dinner at "Homes" a few nights ago ...

This is what i had .. "Claypot Pan Mien" ;) Cost - Rm8.90

This is what my YL had - ??? - Can't remember its name .. :P Same price with mine ..

Damage : RM20 + 2 Jasmine Teh "PING" + Tax and blah blah blah ...

My YL' not satisfied with the food that they served at all .. I guess home cooked food aren't good enough .. :P hehehe .. So ....................................

We got ourselves Chicken and Cheese Paratha from Hotroll .. located just in front of Homes .. Hehe .. This one cost about Rm4.50 .. It tasted AWESOME and Soo good for something that looks like Roti Canai wrapped with pizza toppings with lots of cheese without the tomato sauce.. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for all ages !!! :) whenever your at 1Borneo Hypermall, don't forget to stop by at HotRoll..

M2Blog - RARC repeater upgraded..

Ranau Amateur Radio Communication's repeater had been upgraded on the 2nd of April.. It has been relocated to a new tower that is far more taller than the previous one.. Duplexer has also been installed and now it is running both TX and RX on Diamond X510NA Dual band base antenna.. RARC repeater can now be triggered at Tambunan town area via mobile rig.. :-) Congratulation and thanks to all members that are involved with the repeater upgrading work.. 73 and best to all!

Upgrade Work - Done !

Added 20 feet onto my Diamond F23H Base Antenna!! Here's some of the pictures taken during work progress ...

Installing the Diamond F23H Base Antenna to the 20 foot metal pipe ..

Getting the 20 foot metal pipe on top of the water tank stand .. Damn susah man!! So, we called backup .. hehe

Backup Sampai, Metal is Up!! The metal pipe is then clamp to the tank's stand ..

9W6WTH and TS30 taping the RG8 low loss cable to the tank's handle bar so that it won't look sloppy ;P..

Done !!!! Diamond F23H Base Antenna stood nearly 50 foot tall from ground level .. hehe ..

Testing done with TC91 during the night on simplex frequency ...
TX made on LOW, from home base station, Bukit Padang to Shangri-La's Rasa Ria Resort, Tuaran ..

My working Condition: Yaesu FT-2800M ..
TC91 working Condition: Kenwood TM-271 with Diamond MC101s Antenna ..

I wanna say thanks to 9W6WTH for providing the long metal pipe and TS30 for coming by to help with the installation ..Not to forget, 9W6RYM for providing the extra RG8 low loss cable.. Can't make it without you guys .. Thanks a LOT (^_^) !!
